For the 2019 Global Game Jam, I worked as one of three programmers with two artists, the theme for the Jam was 'What does home mean to you'.
For this, each member of the team decided what home meant to them, this included; pets, food, tea, and sleep. We then incorporated all of these ideas into a game, thus Homeward Round was born.
In this, you are trying to get home and collect all your pets, before the apocalypse kills everyone. In your quest you can use various digestibles to help you; such as tea to make the apocalypse slow down, pizza to make the pets come to you, and cake to give you more points for getting your pets.
We also thought it would be amusing if everything was round and bouncy.

For this, I created the player controller, the random spawning of the items/obstacles, and helped with the ground destruction.
